Robin Wright officially took over House of cards.

In a new trailer for the sixth and final season to come, Wright's character, Claire Underwood, remains president after the resignation of her husband Frank Underwood.

"My first 100 days as president have been difficult," she says. "I lost my husband. We were about to celebrate together 30 years.

But do not expect Madam President to stain her inheritance – instead, she swears to erase the "reign of the middle-aged white man."

"Here's the thing," she says. "All that Francis has told you in the last five years, do not believe anything."

Meanwhile, Doug (Michael Kelly) returns and Tom (Boris McGiver), who continues the work of the secretly murdered journalist Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara), alarmingly reveals that "the bodies are piling up".

The trailer also provides a first glimpse into Claire's interactions with sister lobbyists Annette and Bill Shepherd (regulars in the new series, Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear). and what looks like an assassination attempt on Claire's life. Indeed, as the new POTUS sums up, this season will be "different for you and me".
