Fantasy Football Fun: Week 4

Now, it's a bit more like that.

I'm not particularly proud of bragging for ninth place in a 10-player competition, but you have to start somewhere. A third place for the week is a step in the right direction and has really reduced the stiffness of my inevitable climb, where Bill Voth still resides (but barely, in front of the leader of week 3, Josh Klein of the Riot Report). After week 2, I was 40 points from the middle of fifth place in the standings; in the third week, I reduced this deficit by half.

And like everyone who has had a good week, I have to thank NFC South.

Three of the seven NFL teams that reached 30 points last week reside in the division and the Buccaneers were not far behind with 27 points. Everyone in our little contest had at least one NFC South player (one since you had to choose a panther every week), but all the first five of the third week also had at least one other NFC South player.

Last week, nobody chose the top three players in the NFL.com scoring system – Drew Brees of the Saints and Matt Ryan and Calvin Ridley of the Falcons – but the fourth best scorer of the Panthers, Cam Newton. Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was close to ninth, while Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara were both top-five and Bucs receiver Mike Evans missed the top five in his place.

During week 4, fighters can still choose a panther, although I do not really recommend it since Carolina is goodbye. This means that for the only period of the season, the six-player lineup is a match for all, but I will stay in the South of the NFC with a little more spice in the south.

This is the last week of Saints' suspension by Mark Ingram. I will therefore join the majority that has already used Alvin Kamara and who is trying my luck against the Giants. too late). I also have the impression that Falcons catcher Julio Jones would be inspired by rookie Ridley's three-touch game and try to answer the Bengals.

The rest of my training has a southern touch, with the rest of my players having ties to North Carolina. Giovani Bernard, a former Tar Heel running back, played well for the Bengals against Carolina and could take another start against the Falcons. I also count on a great day on the west coast, consisting of quarterback Philip Rivers and receiver Keenan Allen of the Chargers. Rivers was the star of N.C. State, while Allen grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina.
