Jared Goff played an amazing game under the lights of Thursday night football, leading the Los Angeles Rams to five touchdowns in a close win against the Minnesota Vikings, 38-31.
Goff finished the game with 26 assists on 33 for 465 yards and five non-interception touchdowns, the best game of his career. He was also sacked once, while Kirk Cousins was fired four times by the Los Angeles defense. Cousins finished with 422 yards and three touchdowns, but lost a fumble on Minnesota's last record.
Gurley led the field race for the Rams, with 83 yards in 17 carries, while Cooper Kupp finished with nine receptions for 162 yards and two touchdowns. Adam Thielen led the way for Minnesota with nine catches for 135 yards and one touchdown.
It was a very fun game, one of the best until here this season. The Vikings played well on defense and still could not stop Goff and the Rams. It was a match of high energy and effort in all aspects of both teams, but the Rams came out ahead, leaving the Vikings with a 1-2-1 record to start the season.

Rams 38, Vikings 31, FINAL: Gurley gets 3 yards for the Rams, then Goff throws an incomplete ball by the second, which stops the clock.
