Sometimes good things come in threes.
Shawn Mendes has released three albums. And everyone went beyond the Billboard 200. The Canadian pop singer was the guest of The Tonight Show last night, where he was involved – count them – three different segments.
First, the idiot sat down to chat with host Jimmy Fallon and made humor a laugh when he talked about his budding friendship with Fallon's best friend. Justin Timberlake. "We're actually very good friends," said Mendes, as Fallon dragged him several times pretending he did not hear the comment. Fallon showed viewers a photo of Mendes and JT performing together at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas. "It's really rare that he brings people on stage, he really has to love me," Mendes joked.
The pop singer also shared the story of how he wiped the scene while trying to impress Dave Grohl, who was watching with his daughter at the edge of the stage. Fallon film happily rolled. Look below.
Mendes showed it was a good sport by participating in a new game called "Slay It, Do not Spray It", where the two guys were singing karaoke for pop songs, like Post Malone's "Psycho". Of course, there is a price to pay if the lyrics are not correct: a squirt in the face.
Finally, Mendes does what he does best: he played one of his hits, "Lost In Japan".
