Ryder Cup 2018 matches: Teams, matches, full program for the USA and Europe

[ad_1]

UPDATE: 7:25 am on Friday, September 28th

The start times for the afternoon session at the 2018 Ryder Cup were announced as the morning session continued. Here is an overview of the US and European teams in the second half of Day 1.

All times Eastern, Team USA vs Team Europe

Match 1 (7:50): Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler vs. Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson
Match 2 (8:05): Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson vs. Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter
Match 3 (8.30): Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau vs. Sergio Garcia and Alex Noren
Match 4 (8:35): Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas against Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood.

With American captain Jim Furyk and European captain Thomas Bjorn making their selections for the first four-ball match on Friday, the 2018 Ryder Cup will now play a convincing match for the first day of action at Golf National. The first series of clashes was announced during a long opening ceremony in Paris, during which musicals, several speeches and Tiger Woods received a monstrous ovation from the crowd.

Furyk chose two big bombers to face the new Woods duo and Patrick Reed anchoring the rear. Europe begins with world number two Justin Rose alongside Jon Rahm. Let it hang early, Europe! Get ready because

Here is an overview of the first four games on Friday.

All times Eastern, Team USA vs Team Europe

Match 1 (2h10): Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka vs. Justin Rose and Jon Rahm
Match 2 (2:25 a.m.): Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson vs. Rory McIlroy and Thorbjorn Olesen
Match 3 (2:40 am): Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas vs. Paul Casey and Tyrrell Hatton
Match 4 (02:55): Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed against Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood.

All these matches are convincing for me, but the first and the last are probably more irresistible. Finau and Koepka could be world drummers, but they will face the most complete team of the top four. It could end up being the game of the day.

Woods and Reed will also rock together, but Molinari and Fleetwood will rinse after disgusting iron. It's going to be a show. The whole week is going to be a show, of course, with a leading American team looking for their first win in Europe since 1993 and Europe trying to recover a lost Ryder Cup in 2016. More details on the whole week below .
