In the last month, the sixth year, Taylor Sampson, has kept her mother's secrets.

Buried in the drawer of her dresser, Taylor has stocked the t-shirts that she designed and worn by nearly 400 people around Eastwood today.

With the help of her father, her two brothers, local businesses and friends and colleagues of her mother, Taylor surprised her mother by organizing an awareness campaign on ovarian cancer and her symptoms . (From left to right: David, Ryan and Sam Sampson.)

Taylor's mother, Lisa Sampson, has started her second cycle of chemotherapy for ovarian cancer since her diagnosis last year. "It's always difficult, it still has good and bad days," said David Sampson, Lisa's husband. "But today, it's a great day."

Lisa Sampson arrived at Salem Hyde Elementary School where she teaches around 8:15 this morning. To her surprise, her children greeted her at the door.

Thinking that she was arriving late at a faculty meeting, Lisa Simpson walked into the school cafeteria where school staff was waiting wearing the t-shirt designed by Taylor and that Landmark Graphics was producing and gave. "We love you Lisa," they said in unison. "We are aware now."
