Six months after Connecticut Men's basketball coach, Kevin Ollie, fired for just cause, the NCAA accused him of violations of the code of ethics and recruitment that could result in a lengthy court sentence that would prevent Ollie from remaining coach.

The NCAA also alleged that Ollie was not honest about his knowledge of off-season training of players with a professional coach, while offering illicit benefits in terms of recruiting, exceeding practice deadlines and a lack of compliance.
The charges could result in a "proof" penalty, which would prevent Ollie from attending training for a prohibited period and punish any institution that hires her.

U-Conn. won a national championship in 2014, his second season with the Huskies, but did not qualify for the NCAA Tournament three of the next four years.
Connecticut hired Dan Hurley of Rhode Island in March as a new basketball coach.
