A fan sitting in the seats of the Green Monster had the chance to show his gun on Saturday at Fenway Park.
In the seventh inning of the Boston Red Sox's game against the Yankees, New York hitter Giancarlo Stanton ripped a left-hander to give the team an 8-2 lead.
In an act as old as the game itself, the fan who received the ball chose to send it back.
Often, when a fan rejects the ball, it barely exceeds the warning track because that is why they are in the stands. But this gentleman had quite an arm, spitting a throw that jumped at once and actually hitting Stanton as he bypassed the second goal.
Clearly impressed, Stanton seemed to flip his cap.

I hope the fan noticed him before he was excluded from the game for his fantasy.
