ARLINGTON, Texas – Ever wanted to have your own hand-made coffin?
Well, we can be yours if you are ready to spend 30 hours inside one.
Six Flags Over Texas is looking for six "brave souls" to participate in their 30-hour Coffin Challenge.
Participants will be required to spend 30 hours in a casket, except for restroom breaks.
And while participants may have a friend with them during the opening hours of the park, they will be forced to brave the solo contest overnight.
"Well, not quite alone," says the park. "You see, some of our friends from Fright Fest will hide in the dark, ready to scare you when you least expect it."
Those who have passed the challenge will win two 2019 season tickets, a Fright Fest package including two Haunted House VIP passes and, yes, the casket that they spent 30 hours inside.
One person will also earn $ 300. If more than one person completes the challenge, a draw will be held to determine who will receive the prize money.
The deadline to register for the event is October 3rd and participants will be selected on October 5th.
The event will start at 1 pm. October 13 and ends at 7:14 pm.
You can register for the event at sixflags.com/overtexas.
