A NJ Transit train on the Northeast Corridor line was canceled, while service resumed in both directions between Dover and Summit on the Morris and Essex line after a tree fell on the airlines at Morris Plains. Two NJ Transit trains were canceled this morning.

PATH

At the World Trade Center, Newark and Journal Square trains will be operated on lanes 2 and 3. Hoboken trains will be operated on lane 1.

Main Line-Bergen-Port Jervis

Morris & Essex Line

The train service has resumed between Dover and Summit and is subject to delays of 30 minutes in both directions due to an earlier fallen tree on overhead cables at Morris Plains.

Pascack Valley Line

Montclair-Boonton line

Northeast Corridor Line

Train No. 3932, the 8:26 train to Trenton, is canceled due to the availability of train control equipment. Commuters can use the 3934 8:56 train from Trenton.

North Jersey Coast Line

Scheduled schedule changes

Until early 2019, all single-seat Raritan Valley service outside of peak hours will begin at Newark Penn Station to allow for a positive train control facility.

All PATH stations between Christopher Street and 33rd Street will be closed every weekend between 11:59 pm. Friday and 5 am Monday to October 26th to complete PATH improvements. PATH will provide a free MetroCard for two limited-use trips only to the World Trade Center station. The MetroCard is only valid during the weekend of its show. Hudson-Bergen light rail passengers will be honored 24 hours a day when Hoboken and Newport stations are closed.

The installation of a positive train control on NJ Transit began in June and caused disruptions along the lines Atlantic City, Montclair-Boonton, Main-Bergen-Port Jervis, Northeast Corridor, Coast New Jersey, Morris & Essex, Raritan Valley and Pascack Valley. .
