Will the DC Universe streaming service be available internationally? This is a major platform issue since its first announcement, and although there is no confirmation yet of an overseas launch, there is good news: Titans will broadcast on Netflix for an international audience.
On Monday, Netflix and Warner Bros. concluded an agreement authorizing the continuous distribution of distribution rights on international markets. This is not a huge surprise – Netflix broadcasts DC Entertainment TV shows, such as The flash, black lightning and Arrow, after the end of each season in CW.
Titans Anna Diop as Starfire / Kory, Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson / Robin, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall / Hawk Todd / Robin. Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter and Greg Berlanti developed the series.
The show follows Dick Grayson, formerly Batman's acolyte, forging his own path. Pictures of the series tease the original story of Dick, comic. His family plays in the circus under the name of The Flying Graysons … until they fall into death. Check out the synopsis:
Titans follows the young heroes of the DC Universe as they grow up and discover a belonging to the classics of the Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special girl, possessed by a strange darkness, engage in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Join the Starfire and the Beast Boy. Together, they become a surrogate family and a team of heroes.
Titans arrives on DC Universe on October 12th.
