Clarkson and Blake Shelton continued to compete for country artists.
The blind auditions continued The voice Tonight, with coaches Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, all compete for the artists to complete their teams.
The first artist to audition tonight was Dave Fenley, who had sung "Help Me Hold On" by Travis Tritt. He hoped that Clarkson and Shelton would take turns, and he ended up getting them from both. He finally chose the Blake team.
Steve Memmolo was next, singing "Spooky" from Classic IV. Hudson and Levine turned to him and Memmolo chose the Adam team.
Audri Bartholomew then sang "Never Enough" by Loren Allred. It was a theatrical performance that featured a great variety, but it had pitch problems. Hudson was the only coach to turn, so Bartholomew joined the Jennifer team by default.
Rachel Messer followed with a performance of "I want to be a cowboy love" from Patsy Montana. She came from a family of musicians and showed some experience on the stage. Clarkson and Shelton both turned to her and, unsurprisingly, she chose the Blake team.
Brent Morgan then sang and did not turn any chairs. In hopes of making a difference, Chevel Shepherd sang "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry. His country sound forced Clarkson and Shelton to press their buttons again. But this time, Clarkson came out victorious and Shepherd joined the Kelly team.
The next artist, Bryan Cherry, did not turn any chair with his Sam Cooke song. But Delaney Silvernell surprised Clarkson with his performance of "In My Blood" by Shawn Mendes. She joined the Kelly team by default.
Anthony Arya then performed "Danny's Song" by Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina, which earned Levine an early start. He had a warm and intriguing tone, but no other coach turned around. He joined the Adam team by default.
Natasia Greycloud followed with a performance of "I'm not the only one" by Sam Smith, who won Clarkson and Hudson's lap. She finally decided to join the Jennifer team.
Next, Lynnea Moorer sang Khalid's "Location", featuring an interesting but imperfect voice. She did not receive any rounds, but was selected to participate in the web series. The stage of the return.
The last artist of the evening, Kymberli Joye, sang "Run To You" by Whitney Houston. Hudson, Clarkson and Shelton all turned to her, but Clarkson upset things by blocking Hudson. It was a wise decision because Joye joined the Kelly team.
