A “couple tornadoes” were possible and ping pong ball-sized hail was also predicted, the National Weather Service stated.
Isolated wind gusts up to 70 miles MPH were also possible.
Did not expect so many #tornadoes. The irony of being in a M.S. program for atmospheric scienc is on days like today when I’m stuck in class all day (right now!) I can’t gain valuable forecasting experience. Stay safe out there!! #PAwx #nywx pic.twitter.com/iJpSVrG70M
