A Palestinian teenager was killed by a bottle of Israeli gas fired during a demonstration along the northern border of the enclave with Israel, GazaThe health authorities said.
Ashraf al-Qidra, spokesman for the ministry, said that Ahmed Abu Habel, 15, had died Wednesday after being hit in the head by a tear gas canister near a police station. control between Israel and the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army did not comment on this incident, but a spokesman told the AFP news agency that soldiers had "fired live bullets in accordance with the rules of engagement" as protesters massed along the border.
The incident follows months of demonstrations by Gazans along the border fence with Israel, claiming their right to their ancestral lands, where they had been expelled 70 years ago.
The Great March of Return rallies culminated on May 15 to mark what the Palestinians call the Nakba or Catastrophe – a reference to the forced displacement of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and villages to pave the way for the establishment of Israel in 1948.
Up to now, more than 195 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, one of the most densely populated places in the world.
An Israeli soldier has been killed since demonstrations began on 30 March.
Last Friday, seven protesters were killed by Israeli gunfire, including one aged 12 and 14.
This was the bloodiest day since the demonstrations of May 14, when more than 60 Palestinians were killed in Gaza during protests against the inauguration of the US embassy in Jerusalem.
