Titans are going Go! for another season.
Titans has been resumed for a second season on DC Universe, executive producer Geoff Johns announced at the world premiere of the show at the Comic Con in New York on Wednesday night. The news comes about a week before the official launch of the program on DC's streaming service.
"We are already in season 2," said Johns during the panel. "For me, this shows the confidence that DC Universe has in the show and this amazing cast and ownership. DCs are so favorable. Being able to get a greenlit of season 2 now means we have to keep talking about crazy ideas. "
Executive Producer Akiva Goldsman added, "We are privileged by this incredible cast that we have here on stage. We want to involve more and more incredible actors and characters. "
Johns and Goldmsan both said they would draw even more comics from Season 2.
"We already know the story of season 2," said Johns. "[[[[New Teen Titans writer]Marv Wolfman will be very happy with the second season. "
"I do not want to give anything," said Goldsman, "but there are stories in the books that will appear in season 2."

Promising a more gracious version of the popular group of teenage superheroes, Titans follows Robin (Brenton Thwaites) as he teams up with Raven (Teagan Croft), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) and Starfire (Anna Diop) to stop a demonic evil threatening the world.
"The first season takes our Titans on a journey as they unveil Rachel's mystery," Johns told EW recently. "To believe the original comics, the first scenario was really about Raven and the way she brought these characters together. We have a similar link. [Raven] It's a little sun on which everyone turns.
It takes some time for the Titans to join in the series, as Thwaites as Croft came to cherish the scenes featuring the four Titans. "All the actors are so charming that I was very excited every time we met together, it meant I could talk to my friends," Croft told EW.
Thwaites added, "[The most exciting parts were] These big scenes where we were all together trying to understand what had to be done because it is for me an ensemble show, and the greatest pleasure comes from working with the actors and communicating with them.
