Chance the Rapper pledged $ 1 million for mental health in Chicago and another $ 100,000 for 20 public schools in the city, WLS reported.

The rapper made his announcement on Twitter and in front of Chicago health care experts and city educators, the television channel reported.
"I'm proud to announce that I promise a million dollars for mental health services in Chicago," Chance told the public with his new initiative, "My State of Mind."
Supported Chance and his non-profit association SocialWorks were such stars as Tracee Ellis Ross, Chadwick Boseman and Oprah Winfrey of "Black Panther," reported WLS.
