NAIROBI, Kenya – Update on Melania Trump's visit to Africa (local time):

Melania Trump met Kenya's first lady, Margaret Kenyatta, for tea.

Trump is on her first international trip as the first American lady and on her first trip to Africa. After taking tea with Kenyatta on Friday, she attended a children's dance performance at the Nairobi National Theater.

Earlier Friday, Mrs. Trump was sashay to the beat of African music while she was being welcomed into an orphanage. She had opened the Kenyan part of her visit by feeding baby elephants in Nairobi National Park and on a safari.

Egypt will be the next and last leg of his Africa tour. She had previously visited Ghana and Malawi.

Nest's children in Nairobi welcomed her on Friday singing and dancing, and the first American lady, usually reserved, quickly gave in. She walked down a path holding two children by the hand, then began to sing at the rhythm of the beats as she approached the building.

Ms. Trump is on her first international extended solo trip.
