A 25-year-old man allegedly stabbed his parents and a woman he knows with a pair of scissors in a house in Acton late Thursday night – an incident that caused serious injury to two of the victims, announced prosecutors.
According to Middlesex County Attorney, Benjamin DiCristina, who was arrested at the Haynes Court House where the assault took place, faces numerous charges, including two charges of murder. armed aggression with intent to murder and aggression, causing serious bodily harm. Office.
He was also charged with assault and beatings with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and strangulation, officials said. He was scheduled to appear in Concord District Court on Friday morning.
Acton police responded to the house for stabbing around 10:30 pm and found three victims: a 57-year-old man, a 56-year-old woman and a 28-year-old woman, prosecutors said.
"The preliminary investigation indicates that DiCristina stabbed the three victims, her parents and another woman known to him by using scissors," said a press release sent to Boston.com by the office of the district attorney. "During the altercation, one of the female victims was able to call 911."
The oldest woman suffered superficial wounds and the young woman was seriously injured, officials said. The wounds of the man were considered a threat of death.
The three victims were taken to local hospitals.
The Attorney's Office, the Acton Police and the Massachusetts State Police are currently investigating.
