Both films are ahead of expectations as Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga and Tom Hardy's combined stars deliver powerful punch.
Sony's cartoon movie Venom is in the process of making big box office deals on Friday for a potential national opening approaching $ 70 million, a record in October and among the top 10 openings of 2018 so far, according to preliminary results.
