What was supposed to be a special day for a man at Disney World turned out to be less than magical.

Marc Rubin, 57, visiting from New York, was planning to make a proposal to his girlfriend in front of Cinderella Castle, but things went wrong when he had an altercation with a park employee who told him asked to leave the parade route.

When the actor, Nicole Guzman-Ortiz, 24, made the request, Rubin would have shouted at her, allegedly grabbed her shirt and threatened to hit her face, according to the report of her arrest.

But Rubin is now suing Walt Disney parks and resorts for more than $ 15,000 on the 2015 incident, claiming that he had been falsely accused of detention and falsely arrested, according to a lawsuit filed against the end of last month.

The lawsuit claims that Rubin was "ready to accept" Ortiz's move, but asked for a "brief delay" so that the rest of his group, who was a minor, could come back from a booth. concession where he had gone – he said that he had not done it. The director did not see Rubin seize Ortiz, but he told the police that he had witnessed his "behavior and arrogance".

Rubin was escorted to the park security office, then arrested and charged. He had planned to propose at the end of the festivities of the night.

A Disney spokesman told Fox News: "The safety of the people who work and visit our parks is very important to us and we will respond to allegations, if any, in court."
