New Tom Petty Best-Of Collection Presents Two Unpublished Songs – Rolling Stone

A week after Tom Petty's expansion US Treasury On leaving the boxset, Universal announced plans to publish a best-of-the-career collection dedicated to late-rocker, which features two unreleased recordings.

Best of all, due out on November 16, brings together 38 of Petty's greatest and "definitive" hits throughout his career, ranging from his work with Heartbreakers and Mudcrutch to his solo albums from 1976 to 2016.

The compilation of the most recent remastered hits also includes two unreleased songs: a track unpublished titled "For Real" and an alternative version of "The Best of Everything", a 1985 song. Southern Accents it also lends its title to the best collection; the alternative version contains the second verse of the song, which has never been heard:
