In less than two weeks, the long-awaited third season of Marvel's Daredevil will finally hit Netflix.
After teasing the intrigue of the new episodes in recent weeks, Marvel finally unveiled new details at the New York Comic Con, including a better look at Daredevil's new enemy. Netflix commemorated the occasion with a new teaser, revealing a new look at the mysterious Dex agent. Look at it above!
Of course, it's pretty clear that this new character named Agent Poindexter is actually Bullseye, as evidenced by the baseball cap with the villain's cartoon logo.
Poindexter is an FBI agent with some major personal demons and, as he says in the clip, being a member of the Bureau kept him in the right path. Looks like Wilson Fisk picks him up and manipulates him to do some bad things.
We are very curious to know what kind of leverage the criminal has managed to pass to Poindexter to make him aware of his moral code and his career. But, given Bullseye's course, he's likely to become a cool-blooded killer already.
If you do not understand the real name of the character, Bullseye has always been shrouded in mystery, more commonly called simply Lester. But in the Ultimate Comics, he appears in the miniseries Ultimate Elektra as Kingpin's favorite assassin, and his name here is Benjamin Poindexter.
It seems that the Netflix series explores the context of the character, giving context to his sociopathic tendencies and impeccable purpose.
In the new show, Agent Dex seems to become a deadly tool for Kingpin, which he will use in his vendetta against Matt Murdock. According to the trailers, he seems to embody the character of Daredevil to discredit the vigilante in the eyes of the public by continuing to massacre the public in the guise of Murdock.
This is obviously a disaster for a guy who has just been considered dead The defendersbut something tells us that Murdock will be able to stand out from Kingpin by the end of the seasons.
The new episodes of Daredevil are already preparing to be among the best to date, returning to the brutal violence and skillful work of the character of the first season rather than the blockbuster and melodrama of season 2.
Fans will be able to see the rise of Bullseye and its possible confrontation with the devil of Hell's Kitchen when Daredevil Season 3 begins on Netflix on October 19th.
