Kate Hudson shared the first picture of her adorable newborn baby girl via Instagram on Saturday, just four days after the actress welcomed her first child with her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa on Oct. 2.

In her birth announcement, the mother of three explained the sweet meaning of the name, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa.
"We decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) in honor of her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man we all miss most. Naming him is an honor, "Hudson explained on Instagram. Fujikawa's father, Ron, passed away in October 2012.
