Seventh inning

high: After Aaron Judge was chosen and Eduardo Rodriguez walked Luke Voit, Giancarlo Stanton hit a soft ground ball until third base. Eduardo Núñez introduced the ball, but his shot in second place was high. Initially, Voit had been deemed safe, but the Red Sox challenged the call, which was overturned in Boston's favor. high: Right-hander Brandon Workman replaced Braiser on the mound. Brasier threw 20 shots (10 shots), took out three and did not give any hits in one inning.
Workman eliminated Didi Gregorius before giving Miguel Andujar and Gleyber Torres two consecutive rounds. Left-handed Eduardo Rodriguez came in to relieve Workman, who pitched nine shots.
Brett Gardner jumped to a halt, and Rodriguez eliminated Andrew McCutchen to block both baserunners.

Low: Masahiro Tanaka withdrew the camp in order.
high: Right arm Ryan Brasier replaced Joe Kelly on the mound for the Red Sox. Kelly threw 25 shots (20 shots), took one out and awarded a shot in 2.
Eduardo Núñez executed a hard ground ball from Aaron Judge at third base but made a mistake when throwing it to first. Judge advanced to second. Braiser then ran Luke Voit to put the riders first and second. He escaped the run by eliminating Stanton and Sanchez.
Eduardo Rodriguez began to heat in the office.

Manager Alex Cora said the decision to join Núñez over Rafael Devers was rooted in their ability to get to work. The Devers have made 24 mistakes this season.
"With David on the mound, with these right-handed guys, there are a lot of ground balls hit on that side of the infield," said Cora. "Although we felt good [Devers] with his range and everything, but, throughout the season, he was inconsistent in making routine games. So, in the end, we decided to go with [Núñez] at third base because we think he's the best defensive player.
Cora also noted that starting pitcher Rick Porcello, who played eight throws of 15 shots on Friday, is again available to get out of the paddock. If Porcello is used, right-handed Nathan Eovaldi, the likely starter of match 4, will be moved to match 3 instead of Porcello.
Heath Hembree replaces Steven Wright in the series formation: Right-hander Heath Hembree will take up the position of knuckleballer Steven Wright for the rest of the ALDS, the Red Sox announced on Saturday. Wright, who had an MRI on Friday night in the first game, was diagnosed with "inflammation and relaxation of the body in the left knee".
If the Red Sox advance, he will miss the ALCS, but he is eligible to return for the World Series. Hembree launched 60 relief sleeves in the regular season, allowing 10 home runs. His EER is 4.20.
Pitching Match – Masahiro Tanaka (12-6, 3.75) vs. David Price (16-7, 3.58): Starting pitcher David Price had mixed results in the playoffs setting a 2-8 record with a 5.03 ERA in 17 playoff games. Leaving the market last season, Price launched 6½ shutout between the ALDS 2 and 3 matches against the Houston Astros.
In nine play-offs, Price is 0-8 with an average of 5.74. Still looking for his first playoff win, he said on Friday that he was considering Saturday's opening match against the Yankees as "just another match".
Although he does not cope with the W, Price said he was determined to contribute to the success of the team.
"If I lose all the series and win a world series, I'll take it," said Price. "I do not want it to speak about me and I do not win. I want to go out [Saturday] and throw the ball well, and help the Red Sox win. "
Price is 0-3 with a 10.34 ERA in four regular season starts against the Yankees this year.
Manager Alex Cora identified the start of July 1 at Yankee Stadium – when Price gave five home runs in three sets – marking a turning point in the season. Since that game, Price has been 11-2 with an average of 2.72.
The victory 5 to 4 of the first match may have set the tone for what will follow: The Red Sox have won 12 of the 18 playoffs in which they won the first game.
