Tony Ferguson has extended one of the best series of victories in UFC history on Saturday by defeating former champion Anthony Pettis in the co-headliner of UFC 229.
Ferguson (24-3 MMA, 14-1 UFC) pushed his winning streak to 11 consecutive fights when he beat Pettis (21-8 MMA, 8-7 UFC) by TKO in the second round (due to A corner stop) Co-main event paying at the session organized by the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. With the win, "El Cucuy" is probably aligned for the title in the lightweight division.
