(RNN) – Some things go without saying, but sometimes they literally need to be made explicit.
A petrol station owner in Jacksonville, Fla., Is so fed up that people are using her microwave to heat urine containers, and she is now placing a sign telling her not to do it.
"Only for food purposes," says the sign, "do not heat the urine. Keep the microwave clean!
Drug users get clean urine from other consumers for successful screening. In order not to arouse suspicion, the addict warms the urine in the microwave so that it is still fresh.
"We got fed up with people bringing in their urine containers," store owner Parul Patel told First Coast News.
Patel's store is just a short walk from LabCorp, which offers drug testing services.
Patel said that she had had the inspiration to put a sign after a combative confrontation with a woman who had passed the microwave in the microwave.
"She started swearing on me," Patel told local media. "She said," Well, where is the sign that says you can not use it for this purpose? "That's what gave me the idea:" If that's what you're asking me, then I put the sign saying it's only for food consumption and not for use with your urine or something else.
