Americans William D. Nordhaus and Paul M. Romer shared the Nobel Prize in Economics for their work on the interaction of climate and economics.

The prize awarded on Monday is the final Nobel Prize awarded this year after praise for medicine, physics, chemistry and peace was awarded last week.
