ATLANTA – Max Muncy will start on first base and Joc Pederson will be on the left field for the Los Angeles Dodgers against Atlanta right-winger Mike Foltynewicz in Game 4 of the NL Division on Monday.

All of them were in Game 3 when manager Dave Roberts kicked off David Freese early and Chris Taylor left against southpaw Sean Newcomb on Sunday night.

Yasiel Puig is in the right field and Matt Kemp is back on the bench of the Dodgers, who lead the best series of five defeats 2-1.

The lefty Rich Hill is on the mound for Los Angeles.

Roberts said Clayton Kershaw would start Wednesday in Los Angeles if a 5th match was needed. He said the decision was simple even though he chose Hyun-Jin Ryu over Kershaw to start the first game.

"I think we had our reasons why we decided to play Match 1 against Game 2," said Roberts. "But if there is potential for the fifth game, we are confident that Clayton should be the guy who takes baseball."

Braves manager Brian Snitker said he could use Sean Newcomb and Kevin Gausman, the first two pitchers of the third game on Sunday night, in a fifth game. Right Anibal Sanchez would be another option.

Julio Teheran, who opened the season as Atlanta's No. 1 star, continues to be held in the paddock for a long haul. Tehran was 9-9 with an average of 3.94 in the regular season. He shared the leadership of the team with Foltynewicz starting 31 games.

"We had thought about his start, and we enjoyed the clashes with the other guys," said Snitker.

Snitker propelled second baseman Ozzie Albies to second, the team's third option behind scorer Ronald Acuna Jr. in the last three games. Third base player Johan Camargo was second in the first two games, followed by Ender Inciarte in Game 3.

Camargo beats fifth and Inciarte is seventh in Monday's formation.
