Several people were injured in Hollywood after a debacle at an event marking the release of a Phora album.
Phora, a rapper, then tweeted that everyone was "good," although several users immediately tweeted him that they were in the hospital.
according to Veronica MiracleABC reporter who interviewed Phora on the phone after the event, here's what happened: "He was here [at the ShoePalace] for a meeting and greet and went out. That's when the fans tell me that people harassed her and started to break each other / the girls were hyperventilating and fainting.
Phora too took Twitter to tweet, "Na na na everyone well I made sure that someone fainted but she's fine, she calls Alejandra and she says hello"
However, another fan immediately responded to Phora to challenge his claims, putting online a video of someone injured at the event:
Another Twitter user wrote, "@PHORAONE your intentions were good I know thank you for giving us the opportunity to meet you But can you do something for people who have been queuing for 6-7 hours? Everything degenerated quickly and we were pushed against the wall "
