A woman was ejected from an airliner on Tuesday night after refusing to get off the vehicle when she was told that she could not fly with her squirrel "emotional support," authorities said.
Police were called to help transport the unidentified passenger from a Frontier Airlines flight from Orlando, Florida to Cleveland, but the woman and her pet went down when the police arrived. Orlando police told HuffPost in an email that the incident had been resolved without further problem.
"The passenger noted in his reservation that he was bringing an emotional support animal, but nothing indicates that it is a squirrel," said the airline in a statement. "Rodents, including squirrels, are not allowed on Frontier flights."

When the passenger refused the order to get off the plane, the crew ordered to empty all the plane. The flight was delayed for two hours, reported the Associated Press.
Video taken inside The terminal at Orlando International Airport showed a crowd of people surrounding a door while a wheelchair user was pushed back while doing what appeared to be a salute to a figure, under the applause of the spectators.
Similar rules prohibiting squirrels from traveling with passengers are enforced by other airlines, including American Airlines. The rules follow cases in which passengers have attempted to fly with other unusual animals by claiming them as emotional support animals, including a peacock, a pig and a hamster.
