One of the biggest scandals in college basketball in recent decades has unveiled new information highlighting even more players paid for by Adidas in consultation with some of the country's largest programs and coaches.
Former Adidas consultant, TJ Gassnola, testified under oath to pay the families of the best players, including the revelation of Deandre Ayton.
Breaking: TJ Gassnola, former Adidas consultant, testified under oath this afternoon to pay families to:
Deandre Ayton
Dennis Smith Jr.
Silvio De Sousa
Billy Preston
Brian Bowen Jr.– Matt Norlander (@MattNorlander) October 10, 2018
The list of names abandoned by Gassnola includes the same players as Brian Bowen Jr. and Dennis Smith Jr.
Deandre Ayton, NBA rookie, was chosen by the Phoenix Suns with the No.1 pick in the 2018 draft. Previously, he had informed the FBI that he was unaware of any payments made by the Phoenix Suns. # 39; Adidas. A flawless stay
Apparently, a family member of Ayton took money without the knowledge of the player. Or, or Ayton has a very good poker face.
Smith's testimony comes the same day that TJ Gassnola, an AAU coach who pleaded guilty to having paid family members of players to make commitments for some colleges, including the KU, should testify at the trial. #kubballhttps://t.co/szzS8WP35b

The results of this test will be watched by university basketball fans and future recruits. As more and more players and their families are appointed, recruits must take precautions against those around them.
