The president and rapper are expected to discuss prison reform, the unemployment rate in African-American jobs and the outbreak of violence in Chicago's hometown of the west, according to a statement from the Press Secretary of the White House, Sarah Sanders. West is also expected to bring Jim Brown, a former Cleveland Brown star, who has already spoken to Trump about issues affecting the black community.

In an interview with Fox and Friends on Thursday, Trump spoke excitedly that the rapper called him "a friend of mine." On Tuesday, Trump called West "a great guy" and someone who "likes what we do for African-American jobs."

West's wife, Kim Kardashian West, has been to the White House twice this year, the latest in September, to discuss prison reform with the president, but also with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

In May, Kardashian West met with President Trump at the Oval Office to discuss prison reform and clemency for Alice Marie Johnson. The 63-year-old grandmother was serving a life sentence for drug charges. Shortly after Kardashian West met with the president about Johnson, the president exchanged the sentence of his grandmother.

While the couple's increased public support for penitentiary reform has been praised in some circles, Kanye West's relationship with Trump has been a source of criticism in the hip-hop community.

West said earlier this year that the "crowd" could not make him abandon President Trump. After months of criticism from hip-hop fans, performers and his friends for supporting the president, the rapper is not discouraged.

In a recent appearance on "Saturday Night Live," West wore a "Make America Great Again" hat and plunged into a passionate and pro-Trump speech on live television – a speech that was continued even after the end of the series.

On the following Sunday afternoon, under the pseudonym of his "SNL" appearance, the rapper tweeted a photo of himself wearing a red hat with the motto of the MAGA campaign, stating that "this is a good thing and that America is becoming whole again We are no longer outsourcing to other countries We are building factories here in America and creating jobs We will provide jobs for all those who do not have prisons while we let's abolish the 13th amendment, message sent with love. "

The thirteenth amendment abolished slavery in the United States: "except as a punishment for a crime whose part must have been duly condemned".

Later, West tweeted that "the 13th Amendment is a disguised slavery, which means it has never ended, we are the solution that heals". In another tweet, he added "do not abolish, but modify the 13th amendment, we apply everyone's opinions to our platform".

Trump, who has repeatedly extolled West's support, shouted a reciprocal cry on Sunday morning.

"Like many, I do not watch Saturday Night Live (even though I've already hosted it) – funnier, no talent, or charm – it's just a political advertisement for Dems." The rumor says that Kanye West, who put a MAGA hat after the show (despite the refusal to do so), was great and he is leading the charge! "tweeted the president.
