Alec Burks of Jazz: warm rest of the field

Burks provided 17 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and a 17-minute block in the 132-93 Jazz-up against the Kings pre-season win, Thursday.

Burks was on fire during his stay on the field, accumulating one point per minute and checking the highest points total for the Jazz of the night. The veteran seems to be motivated by the potential of choosing the first round, Grayson Allen, in his minutes, because he matched the impressive preseason of the latter with one of his own. Taking into account Thursday's production, Burks recorded double-digit gains in three consecutive shows and four out of five. He did it with his trademark firing address, posting a 60.0 percent success rate (21 vs. 35) in these contests.
