DUBLIN (Reuters) – The leader of the Northern Ireland party that backs the government of British Prime Minister Theresa May said Saturday that she would not prefer a Brexit deal to a bad deal, saying the current proposal would annex permanently Northern Ireland to the rest of the United States Kingdom.

In the Belfast Telegraph newspaper, Arlene Foster also said that she wanted an agreement that would work for the Republic of Ireland and that she would be going to Dublin for talks on Monday.
