Dave Chappelle sitting with CNN Van Jones and sent his comments on wanting to give the president Donald Trump a chance.
Chappelle made these remarks when he welcomed SNL After the 2016 election, he said, "It makes me proud to be an American and I am very happy with the prospects of our country. So with that in mind, I wish Donald Trump good luck. And I will give him a chance. And we, the marginalized historians, demand that he give us one too.
Almost two years later, Chappelle now declares: "The rhetoric of his presidency is repugnant. I do not like his way of speaking … We live in a time when there must be a little more cultural sensitivity. "
He recounted how he personally tries to listen to what others have to say, while Trump is busy "talking to a very small choir".
