Tucker Carlson: Kanye West "dangerous for the system" | Video

[ad_1]

CARLSON TUCKER, FOX NEWS HOST: There was an unexpected and quite surprising moment in the White House today.

Kanye West, the rapper, went on show in the Oval Office and then gave a campaign speech while he was sitting right in front of the President of the United States and that he was hitting the presidential office.

You have probably already seen pictures of what happened. It's everywhere. And the scene may have baffled you. You may have concluded that it was a publicity stunt organized by famous people in order to become more famous.

You may have found yourself mumbling about our depressed and celebrity-centered public discourse these days. You may have felt a bit sad to know that the dignified country in which you grew up is gone for good.

You can be forgiven for reaching these conclusions. But this is not the whole story of what happened today. Believe it or not, Kanye West has said some really interesting things this afternoon, things we should talk about in public but are not.

He will probably destroy his career for saying so. He will certainly be despised by many of his old friends. But before that happens, consider what he actually said. We will start with the most offensive things.

Here they are.

(START THE VIDEO CLIP)

KANYE WEST: You know, people expect that if you are black, you must be a democrat. I've had – I've had conversations that basically said that welfare is the reason why many blacks end up being democrats. They say, you know, first of all, it's – that – it's a limited number of jobs. Then – the fathers lose their jobs and say, "We will give you more money to have more children at home."

I think it's bravery that helps you beat this game called life.

You know, they tried to scare me for not wearing that hat, my own friends. But this hat gives me – it gives me power, so to speak. You know, my dad and my mom broke up, so I did not have a lot of masculine energy at home.

You know, I love Hillary. I love everyone, right? But the "I'm with her" campaign just did not make me feel, as a guy, that I did not see my father all the time, as a guy who could play with his son.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

CARLSON: She did not make me feel like a guy who could play wrestling with her son. West did not explain exactly what he meant by that. And yet, at the same time, he could not have expressed it more precisely and more poignantly.

He grew up in a party whose politics systematically destroyed the American family, especially in poor neighborhoods. I did not have a lot of masculine energy in my house, says West, with obvious sadness. Millions of American children know exactly what he is talking about.

The Democratic Party will not recognize these children or their loss. For party leaders, fathers at home are at best irrelevant. At worst, they constitute an obstacle to political power. Married women tend to vote Republican and they know it.

When prominent Democrats attack patriarchy, they attack fathers. When they fight toxic masculinity, they try to suppress that masculinity. Everybody knows it. Few are brave enough to say it out loud.

West basically done. And then he continued. Look at this.

WEST: So, and it's a gesture. One of the things I love a lot about Liberals is that the Liberals try to control a black person through the concept of racism, because they know we are very proud and emotional. So when I said "I love Trump," a liberal, they said, "Oh, but he's racist." You think racism could control me? Oh, they do not stop me (ph). It's an invisible wall.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

CARLSON: You think racism can control me? It's an invisible wall. The journalists who watch seem stunned, even betrayed. And then, just to add something, West then defended the Bill of Rights. Watch.

(START THE VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN: What about gun violence? With all the debate on the second amendment in progress, how to solve this problem (ph)?

WEST: The problem is illegal guns. Illegal firearms are the problem, not – not – not legal weapons. We have the right to carry weapons.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

CARLSON: What do we do with all this?

Of course, just by looking, you can say that Kanye West is an eccentric guy. He winds. He speaks as someone who has never had to filter his thoughts, which he probably never had to do.

But, like somebody who comes to mind, West can be crazy enough to think for himself, and that's a valuable quality at the moment current. No consultant advised him to say it. Clearly, nobody controls it. Sometimes he does not control himself.

But listen carefully to what he said. Flashes of truth are scattered throughout his ravings, true information about how the world is actually rather than the way they tell us. No one else is allowed to speak that way. Go ahead and try to work. You will be fired.

West is on file. And that makes it dangerous for a system based almost entirely on piety and lies. If you benefit from such a system, you must crush Kanye West.

Here is the calculation. Democratic presidential candidates, all those who run for office, must obtain almost the entire black vote to win national elections. This is not easy to do. So, to do this, the Democrats sell the (ph) racial division.

They oppose Americans to each other according to their ethnicity. You can not support them. They are the wrong color. You hear that all the time. It is now the essential argument of Democrats. It's destructive. But more worrying for the Democrats, it may not work anymore.

A survey conducted by Public Broadcasting last week revealed that Trump's approval rate among Hispanic voters is 41%. This is higher than among white voters trained in college.

If something like that happened among African-American voters, the game would be over. So, that can not happen. Kanye West must be destroyed. And so the police of thought plunged almost immediately to stop this disobedient artist and declare him incompetent.

ALI VELSHI, MSNBC: Wow. D & # 39; AGREEMENT. I do it for all those who look at us and have lowered their volume, you can restore it. It was crazy.

STEPHANIE LEIGH RUHLE, MSNBC: But if you think you will get a thoughtful – a – room after political analysis and analysis, you are not because it was an assault on our White House.

REPRESENTATIVE. JACKIE SPEIER (D-CA): It was a combination of flow of consciousness. I felt like I was sitting in a psychiatric visit and an advertisement for Donald Trump.

DON LEMON, HOST THIS EVENING FROM CNN, CNN: What I saw was a minstrel show today. Him in front of all these whites, mainly whites, embarrassing themselves and embarrassing Americans, but mostly African-Americans.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

CARLSON: Yes, shut up Kanye. You are crazy. Do not forget that this comes from the same people who thought that Hillary Clinton was doing perfectly well, and even a serious person. They hope it works, that crazy thing, and that you believe them.

And just in case you do not do it, they want to remind you that Kanye West is a race traitor, as Don Lemon said, who has low IQ. It was CNN Tuesday night.

(START THE VIDEO CLIP)

BAKARI SELLERS, AMERICAN POLITICIAN, LAWYER: Kanye West is what happens when Negroes do not read. And – and we have that now. And now, Donald Trump will use it and pervert it and he'll have someone who can stand it and take some pictures.

TARA OLIVIA SETMAYER, CNN political commentator, ABC News contributor, former director of Gop communications on CAPITOL HILL: Kanye because he put a MAGA hat and that he is a whore of the attention, like the president, he suddenly became the model spokesman. He is – he is the symbolic negro of – the Trump administration.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

CARLSON: understood? He can not read because he's the word-N. That's what Liberals from the Liberal channel are telling you now. But they do not have a choice. They are terrified that you're listening to what Kanye West is saying, and that's not allowed.
