An Australian wildlife guardian feeding dozens of animals was attacked Saturday by a kangaroo while she was trying to save her husband from the marsupial six feet.
Linda Smith, 64, was hospitalized for a collapsed lung, broken ribs and other injuries after being attacked with her husband, Jim, on their property in Cypress Gardens, Queensland, Australia, reported news. com.au.
Smith, speaking at the hospital, told the Australian media that she fed about 30 kangaroos and wallabies every night on the couple's 40-hectare area and continued her daily routine on Saturday when they encountered a gray kangaroo.
