Admittedly, the Ohio State Band may be more aware of current trends with this tribute to the kid's backpack, but the Iowa State Band knows that dinosaur inflatable costumes can elevate any performance of the Jurassic Park theme.
During half-time at the Iowa State-West Virginia match, the ISU fanfare performed John Williams' classic theme, based on the spectacular success of Steven Spielberg's dinosaur, in honor of the film's 25th anniversary and added dancing dinosaurs with spectacular bloom.
Now, to be fair, it's not the first time this has happened. Last year, the fanfare of the University of Michigan did something very similar and was not lost viewers.
Nevertheless, the performance of the Iowa State has given rise to many magical reactions on the theme of Jurassic Park.

We had planned a show on the field like this during the Alamo Bowl: the show on the manufacture of oil. All our dinos would die and be turned into oil. Needless to say, our sponsor, Valero, was not enthusiastic about this idea

The cherry added to the top of this bowl of grandeur? The local Iowa State Cyclones team surprised Mountaineers No. 6 West Virginia 30-14.
I'm not saying that it was the dinosaurs … but it was probably the dinosaurs.
