NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The Baltimore Ravens celebrated Sunday the biggest NFL bag party.
In a 21-0 win in the shutout, the Ravens fired 11 times the Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, setting a franchise record as well as a new standard for the 2018 season. No team had returned a quarter more than seven times before Baltimore denigrates Mariota.
The match marks the first time that a quarterback has been harassed several times since Greg McElroy of the Jets was sacked 11 times by the San Diego Chargers in 2012, according to ESPN Stats & Information.
The Baltimore defense finished with more sacks than allowed completions. Mariota had 10 of 15 passes for 117 yards.
The Ravens have more than doubled the number of times Titan quarterbacks have been sacked this season. Tennessee has awarded nine sacks in the first five games.
Facing former defensive coordinator Dean Pees, the Ravens went to Mariota early, setting a franchise record by firing him six times in the first period.
Eight players recorded sacks, including a team record by three, the linebacker Za & Darius Smith.
