MANCHESTER, N.H. – Actor Alec Baldwin continued his recent parody of President Donald Trump by calling on voters to use the November 6 midterm elections to peacefully "overthrow" the government.
After resuming his Trump role in "Saturday Night Live," Baldwin flew to New Hampshire, where he was the keynote speaker at the annual New Hampshire Democratic Party fundraising dinner.
"The way we implement change in America is through elections – we are changing governments here at home in an orderly and formal way," he said. "In an orderly, formal and legal manner, we must overthrow the United States government under Donald Trump."

Baldwin said question after question that Republicans are destroyers and not builders.
"There is currently a small group of people in power who are determined to pursue a malicious immigration policy that has paved the way for accusations of human rights abuses by the international community. stole money from the federal treasury and deposited it directly in the bank accounts of their most ardent political supporters, "he said.
He said Republicans "shrug their shoulders" in the face of gun violence, "clinging to the face" in the rest of the world to change outdated energy policies and offer neither hope nor solutions to people of color "who seek a decent seat at the American economic table but instead are sentenced to a prison term, or worse, a bullet."
The recent confirmation by Justice Brett Kavanaugh of the Supreme Court has shown that Republicans see women as unworthy of the same protection as the same constitutional protections as men, Baldwin said.
"They themselves are sons, husbands, fathers, and yet when the time came to the heart of the #MeToo movement to put politics aside and establish that women's rights were more important than the political opportunity, they failed and it was ugly, "he said. .
The appearance of Baldwin in the state organizing the first presidential primary took place just hours before the premiere of his new talk show. ABC's "The Alec Baldwin Show" will feature face-to-face conversations with celebrities and cultural icons.
But Baldwin said it would not be overtly political. Asked on Sunday he was considering running for his candidacy himself, he did not rule out but joked that his wife would probably divorce him.
