MANCHESTER, N.H. – Less than 24 hours after resuming Emmy Award-winning President Trump's parody on Saturday Night Live, Alec Baldwin once again targeted the president.
"In an orderly, official and legal manner, we must overthrow the US government under Donald Trump," Baldwin said Sunday night at a major fundraising dinner for the New Hampshire Democratic Party.
"I flew this morning after doing" Saturday Night Live "last night," the long-time actor, comedian and Liberal political activist told a crowd of 800 office members, candidates, party officials and activists, under a thunder of applause.
Baldwin said his role as Trump on "SNL" was not supposed to last that long.
"Only three shows," he said, "recalled Baldwin, said producer Lorne Michaels of" SNL ", while he was trying to convince the actor to represent Trump, then candidate. "Until the elections," he says, "so he'll be gone," he says, "three shows, it'll be fun," he said.
But Trump's victory over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election had the effect of extending Baldwin's career in the late-night comedy show – including the opening skit of Trump's recent meeting with rapper Kanye West.

Becoming serious, Baldwin then rallied the crowd to vote in mid-term elections next month, saying "this election and the one that will follow in 2020 will be the most decisive elections since the FDR election".
He added, "It's time to overthrow Donald Trump's government – not violently or illegally – but it must be overthrown."
Baldwin ended his speech by almost 20 minutes by putting into practice the famous slogan of the presidential campaign.
"Let's restore glory to America by making Donald Trump a casino operator," he said.

Some Republicans in New Hampshire have criticized the Democrats of that state for choosing Baldwin as the keynote speaker. They discussed Baldwin's problematic behavior in the past, including making abusive remarks about women and making homophobic remarks.
Answering questions from reporters after his speech, Baldwin did not respond directly.
"Most of the time, people are trying to harass me about Woody Allen's defense," he said, referring to the filmmaker who has long faced allegations of sexual assault, which He denied.
Baldwin also told reporters that he always "dreamed" to introduce himself, but that was not planned at the moment.
"My wife told me that she would divorce me if I introduced myself," he joked.
He also downplayed suggestions that his democratic activism would limit the success of "The Alec Baldwin Show," his new venture on ABC.
Baldwin has long supported candidates and Democratic causes. He said he would move to Canada if Texas Governor George Bush won the 2000 presidential election. Although Bush won, Baldwin did not move.
More recently, Baldwin campaigned last year for Democrat Ralph Northam in a highly contested governorship election. And last November, he led the Iowa Democrats' Fall Fundraising Gala.

New Hampshire is the state that holds the first primary every four years – and Sunday night's dinner was a key milestone for potential White House candidates.
Baldwin had already made headlines in June by announcing to radio host Howard Stern that if he ran for the 2020 presidency, he would defeat Trump.
"If I ran, I would win," Baldwin said. "I would absolutely win."
Baldwin said Sunday that if he had decided to run, "I thought it would be such a pleasure to travel the country and try to remind people that, back to a time of common sense."
But Baldwin said he was not very optimistic when he was considering the potential field of Democrats vying for the presidential nomination in 2020.
"I hope that someone who is not necessarily on the horizon right now will come to fruition," said Baldwin, "because I do not think anyone is a favorite among them." six, seven, eight first names I've seen I think none of them will have an easy life. "
He also took another blow to the president.
"Every day I wake up and I'm still horrified," he said. "I have the impression that Trump is president of the United States. I can hardly say it. "
