Mist, drizzle and fog will remain around Monday morning and the cold will not go away.

The rain will remain until 14h Monday and a fragmented fog will cover the Grand Cincinnati until 9 o'clock.

After weeks of records, the cold is finally here to stay. This week, the highs will reach the mid-50s and the sky will be clear. Nocturnal minimums will plunge into the 1930s and freeze warnings have been issued most of the week.

Take a blanket and a scarf, the cold is here to stay.

"Slightly below-normal temperatures are expected in the near future," said the national meteorological service.

The National Meteorological Service has published a notice for Tuesday on the freeze, which is in effect from 2:00 to 10:00. It will be possible to cause a general frost Thursday morning, while temperatures will fall again. Friday morning could bring a partial freeze.

Sensitive plants left outside and unprotected can be damaged by frost zones. The National Meteorological Service has stated that plants should be brought back inside or covered with newspaper layers or blankets.
