The internationally renowned astrophysicist did not expect to find paradise at his death last March at the age of 76 years.
Professor Hawking revealed his answers to 10 "fundamental questions" that were often asked of him – notably to predict how humanity, as we know it, would be eliminated by the super-rich – in his latest offer, Brèves responses to big questions.
And his last "deep realization" insists that there is no life after death nor of being supreme.

"No one has created the universe and no one is directing our destiny," Hawking revealed.
"This leads me to a profound realization: there is probably no paradise or life after death.
"I think that believing in the afterlife is only wishful thinking."
Shortly before his death, Professor Hawking began gathering answers to the thorny questions asked by readers that had been frequently asked since the publication of his book Brief History of Time, in 1988.
They include the question "can time travel be possible" – what the scientist said "can not be excluded".
He also believes that humans will be able to travel in space in an extraordinary way to "anywhere in the solar system over the next hundred years".
Professor Hawking added about his theory that there is no God: "There is no reliable evidence on this and it contradicts all we know in science.
"I think when we die, we go back to dust.
"But there is a meaning on which we live, in our influence and in the genes we transmit to our children."
Lucy, Hawking's daughter, recounted the "emotional" moment when she heard her father speak again through her famous voice-generating computer.
"I sometimes have the impression that he is still here because we are talking about him, that we are hearing his voice and that we are seeing pictures of him, and then we have the reminder that he is there. he left us."
His brother, Timothy, told how he could hear his father's voice "out of the page" when he read the new book.
"It's very nice to communicate with him again this way."
The book, published today, also addresses what lies inside a black hole. There is a smart life in the universe and how it all began.
When asked how we are shaping the future, Professor Hawking replied, "Do not forget to look at the stars and not at your feet."
