BARRON, Wisc. – The FBI resumes searching for a missing teenager from Wisconsin whose parents were found dead in the family home. An orange alert is in effect for 13 year old Jayme Closs.

Police believe that she may have been kidnapped under the threat of a firearm. According to the police, Adriana Diaz, correspondent for CBS News, received an almost inaudible 911 call with a caller for help. Shortly after, Sheriff's deputies discovered the bodies of James and Denise Closs.

Police in Miami announced the possibility of a Jayme observation on Monday in a black Ford Explorer with a Wisconsin license plate. They ask anyone with information to call 911.

"When we can find a 13-year-old girl safe, that's our goal," said Chris Fitzgerald, Barron County Sheriff. On Monday, he said there was no sign of Jayme's disappearance and the death of his parents.

"I've been doing this for over 20 years and it's a crime scene as I've seen it before, but it's a scene you rarely see," Fitzgerald said.

The investigators went to the Closs family home on Monday and withdrew evidence. Police say that Jayme is not a suspect. The sheriff said that a firearm had been involved in the killing of Jayme's parents but would not have confirmed that they had been shot.

"It's scary, you do not know what to expect, no matter where you are," said neighbor Joan Smrekar.

The people of the small rural town are eager for Jayme to return safely.

"We all have children," said Paula Frisinger, Barron resident. "We hope that they find it."

On Facebook, Jayme's mother shared frequent photos of her daughter. Last year, in a ticket for Jayme's birthday, Jayme "grew to become the sweetest and most generous girl … I love you for the moon and the return" .

"I hope and pray with the help of God and the community so that we all gather and help find this girl and bring her home," said one of the parents from the Jayme School.

The sheriff said that he was using infrared technology and drones to make searching easier.
