These are not the rankings.

Instead, we rank each team according to their pleasure to watch. Although talent certainly plays a role in terms of visibility (as with Golden State), there are other cases (as with San Antonio) that it does not do.

10. Indiana Pacers – The Pacers were the most surprising team in the NBA last season. LeBron James and Cleveland played seven games in the first round of the playoffs, despite the fact that most players (including us) had tagged him before the start of the season. In doing so, they have become one of the most entertaining teams in the league, a kind of Cinderella story, with the most improved player, Victor Oladipo, in the lead.

9. Philadelphia 76ers – The Sixers have gone from an unassailable disaster to a powerhouse not to be missed in a year, and the league is better. Of course, it took a 75-253 record over four years to get here, but that paid off as Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons could be the best – and most entertaining – young basketball duo.

8. New Orleans Pelicans – Anthony Davis has always been an essential human actor, but he is now a long-term MVP candidate. Then there is Julius Randle, who played the best basketball of his career after the all-star break last season and Jrue Holiday, who remains one of the most underrated players in the league. In addition, the Pelicans led the NBA at the pace last season and coach Alvin Gentry said he wanted his players to play faster this time.

7. Utah Jazz – The boring days of Jazz basketball are over and Utah has to thank Donovan Mitchell. The rookie finalist of the year exceeded all expectations during his inaugural campaign and drew attention – and hearts – from the NBA world. It's as electrifying as they come, and when paired with defensive player of the year Rudy Gobert and extraordinary Joe Ingles, the Jazz becomes one of the most captivating bands in the league.

6. Denver Nuggets – The Nuggets' high-powered attack is ready for revenge after missing the playoffs on the final night of the 2017-18 season. Nikola Jokic's skills make him one of the most fascinating men in the league, while Jamal Murray, Gary Harris and Will Barton deserve more attention than everyone else. With only 18 televised games on television this season, the Nuggets are worth the price of the League Pass.

5. Milwaukee Bucks – Giannis Antetokounmpo, alone, makes Bucks a must-see team. But it is not the same team of the last seasons. With former coach Mike Budenholzer on the sidelines, the Bucks will let the ball go three times – which they had not done during Jason Kidd's tenure as a coach.

Houston Rockets – Speaking of three points, no team in the history of the league has been as successful as the Rockets last season (they scored 40.9% of their points beyond the bow and have tried 42.3 per game). With a duo of stars, James Harden and Chris Paul, in charge of the offensive and a star in the making at Clint Capela in charge of painting, it's no wonder that the Rockets have 39 televised matches at television this season.

Boston Celtics – All is finally reunited for the Celtics, who won 55 games last season despite losing to Gordon Hayward at the opening night and Kyrie Irving's absence for the regular season quarter-over. and their playoff run. Not only are the Celtics' two best players back and healthy, but their rising stars – Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier – have an invaluable season of experience.
