The NBA season is officially back! The Boston Celtics hosted the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden as part of last season's second round playoff game. It was a bit of a sloppy start, as both teams struggled to find the rhythm from the start. Despite everything, there have been spectacular individual moments. And in the second half, the Celtics moved away for a 105-87 win.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 23 points and nine rebounds, while five different players scored double digits. The Celtics bench, which should be strong, brought 44 points. On his return to the game, Gordon Hayward finished with 10 points, five rebounds and four interceptions.
Ben Simmons led the 76ers with 19 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists. Joel Embiid added 23 points and 10 rebounds. They returned the ball more than 16 times in defeat.
