COLUMBIA – Authorities released Tuesday the identity of a stay-at-home mom and her four children who were found dead in an alleged suicide-murder this week in their home in Columbia.

Maury County Sheriff Bucky Rowland identified the woman as Cynthia Collier, 55, and her four children, Bo Li, 14, Meigan Lin, 14, Lia Lin, 15 and 17. Kaileigh Lin.

Rowland testified that the evidence indicated that Collier's injury was self-inflicted.

The five members of the family were found around 18 hours. Monday by an older brother who was also living in the 1000 block house of Carters Creek Pike in Colombia. The brother, who is not a suspect, dialed 911 to report the deaths.

Investigators said their bodies were in several areas of the house. Two guns were found at the scene.

The investigators were still trying to determine a pattern on Tuesday afternoon.

"There was still some information, it was very brief and vague, that would indicate that it would be a murder-suicide," Rowland said.

Life at home in Colombia

The children were schooled at home by their mother, said Rowland. There was no trace of domestic situations in the family.
