John Krasinski strike again!
The 38-year-old actor appeared in the Tuesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and makes a joke about the talk show host late at night.
At the time they were neighbors in Los Angeles, both celebrities used to engage in all kinds of silly shenanigans. In 2011, the star of A silent place breaks into Jimmy Kimmelhouse and put Christmas decorations all over his living room. The host took revenge later in the year by placing a giant insurance sign in Krasinski's alley.
However, the beautiful friendship did not stop there. The following year, Krasinski bought a zombie figurine and placed it in Kimmel's yard. The host responded by introducing a giant inflatable reindeer into Krasinski's yard and leaving an animal in the driveway.
"Yes, it has been on my sneakers for weeks," Krasinski said.
Over the next few years, they continued to joke by packing gifts in their homes and cars. Krasinski even sent a nasty secret Santa Claus to Kimmel's office and has already decorated his workspace as a winter wonderland. To truly get into the holiday spirit, Kimmel then threw eggnog on Krasinski during an appearance on his show.
Unfortunately, Krasinski has since moved to New York and their stupid shenanigans are no longer as quiet as they are. But since Kimmel's show in Brooklyn this week, Krasinski has decided to revisit his joke war.
He found the town house that Kimmel rented and placed a giant sign in front of him saying, "Welcome to Jimmy Kimmel, who is renting this house!" He has also hired a gospel choir to sing in front of the house and invite people to come in, just in case they want to take a selfie with the host or steal his stuff. Krasinski also had giant inflatable Christmas characters in front of the house, as well as a sign saying, "Come in and say hello !!"
