Actress Tara Reid, suspected of being a victim of a bad siege, reportedly boarded a Delta Air Lines aircraft this week, said Wednesday that she had "graciously" Left the plane alone after a flight attendant asked him to drop his puppy. in an upper bin.
Reid, who left Monday's Los Angeles-New York flight before leaving the ground Monday, recounted his alternate narrative of what had happened on Instagram, pointing out that the troubles began when an agent of board asked him to place his puppy in a top bin.
Reid said she was worried that the animal would suffocate and refused. The flight attendant then suggested that the animal be placed in the belly of the aircraft, Reid continued. She said that she "graciously refused" and "had left the plane on my own … without any incident".
Delta told TMZ that Reid's story had no meaning. A flight attendant suggested that Reid put his animal carrier in the garbage bin, not the dog, an airline spokesman said. Reid was told that she could keep her dog on her lap or at her feet, said the representative, adding that Reid was "very unruly and disruptive".
TMZ reported earlier that Reid had personally told the site that she was angry at not having received a seat near a window and that she was feeling squeezed because of of a passenger lying in front of her. Reid challenged the TMZ account.
TMZ's story on Tuesday revealed she was angry, citing witnesses who said Reid was "complaining loudly," while the flight attendants were trying to appease him. The site aired images of an air hostess speaking to Reid about the possibility of retrieving her luggage before she was walking down the driveway with her dog.
According to Delta, the plane bound for New York came back to the door due to a "passenger disruption", which delayed takeoff. The company apologized to the other passengers for the inconvenience.
The police did not intervene and Reid took another plane.
