Preview of the week 7

Welcome to week 7, which is the first week of more than two teams waiting. Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Seattle and Oakland are off this week.

Although you probably did not miss much (none?) Raiders, we have several stars, especially the quarter, including Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger and Russell Wilson. Oh yes, and Derek Carr too.

There is no James Conner, Chris Carson or Marshawn Lynch on the run. Thankfully, you do not have to guess the good Packers for this week, nor to know if The Vein Bell is playing.

As for Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Davante Adams and Doug Baldwin, as well as Tyler Lockett, Amari Cooper, Jordy Nelson, Geronimo Allison, Randall Cobb and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, we do not have any heads. ; displays. Jimmy Graham, Vance McDonald and Jared Cook are some of the tight ends.

When you look at these names, as well as the usual lot of injuries – Dalvin Cook (hamstring), Leonard Fournette (hamstring), Devonta Freeman (groin) and Cooper Kupp (knee) are the big names, among others – this Make you Realize the importance of depth of quality for your Fantasy training. I hope you are ready to handle this week.

And from now until the 11th week, there are at least four teams waiting every week, so get ready to handle your Fantasy alignment well. But it's fun to play this game, right?

We know you will do well. And, as always, we are here to help you if necessary. So I wish you good luck for the 7th week and start now with this playoff push.

Editor's Note: Projections are provided by SportsLine.com. The projected points concern PPR leagues.

Beginning of the week

The best back carrier this season was Tarik Cohen and not Jordan Howard. And lately, it's not really been close.

In the last two games against Tampa Bay and Miami, Cohen has had 18 runs for 84 yards and one touchdown, as well as 14 assists for 211 yards and 17 touchdowns. He scored 53 PPR points over this period.

Howard, meanwhile, has 25 runs for 94 yards and no touchdown, as well as two catches on two targets against the Buccaneers and Dolphins. He scored six points combined in both games.

Although it does not really concern Cohen and Howard – which I still consider to be a cheap candidate – it actually shows that the Bears are relying on Cohen as their number one. And it's a good match to feature it in Week 7 against New England.

The Patriots have struggled to beat the backs in the last two games. Nyheim Hines had seven catches for 45 yards on nine targets in the fifth week and Kareem Hunt had five catches for 105 yards and one touchdown for six in the sixth week.

For the season, six halfbacks scored or gained at least 90 total yards against New England. And Cohen should add to this total this week. I like him as a No. 2 running back in the non-PPR leagues, but he's a # 1 PPR option.

In the PPR leagues, I start again Cohen: Sony Michel (at CHI), Mark Ingram (at BAL), Adrian Peterson (against DAL), LeSean McCoy (at IND) and Jordan Howard (against NE)

quarterbacks

Sleepers

Bust alert

Rivers has gone on a five-game winning streak with at least 21 Fantasy points ending in the fourth week in Cleveland while he has only 18 points. He could have a similar production this week against the Titans in London. It's not that Rivers expects to play badly, but he did not have to throw much later with the way Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler handle the ball. Rivers only tried 20 assists against the Browns and could still record a minimal production this week. Tennessee has also allowed just two quarters to win more than 17 Fantasy points this season, and the Titans are averaging only 17.0 points in the opposite quarter of the year. Rivers is at best a low-end starting option this week.

Running backs

Sleepers

  • Corey Clement (vs. CAR): In the first game without Jay Ajayi (ACL) in Week 6 at the Giants, Clement showed that he was the best semi-offensive in front of Wendell Smallwood with 11 runs for 43 yards and one touchdown and three catches for 26 yards. He was counting well in this game after two missed outings with a quad injury, but he should be ready for more work this week against the Panthers. And Carolina allowed an offensive midfielder to score or get at least 90 yards total in every game of the season.
  • Marlon Mack (vs. BUF): Mack played Week 6 at Jets after missing the previous three games due to a thigh injury. He looked explosive with 12 runs for 89 yards, as well as a shot for 4 yards. He will continue to share playing time, especially with Nyheim Hines on the passes, but the Colts should rely on Mack at least 15 times this week against the Bills. It's not an easy game against Buffalo, but the Bills have allowed four decisive touchdowns in four road games this year.
  • Frank Gore (vs. DET): Gore has led the Dolphins in scopes in each of the last four games, and he's getting more and more every week, with 15 yards for 101 yards in Week 6 against Chicago. He has scored at least 12 PPR points in two of his last three games, and he gets a great game in the seventh week against Detroit. The Lions have allowed four halfbacks to score a total of five touchdowns in just five games. Gore, as well as Kenyan Drake, are worth being used as flexible options this week.
  • Peyton Barber (vs. CLE): On their way out of the sixth week in Atlanta, the Buccaneers relied on Barber – not rookie Ronald Jones – for his best game of the season. Barber has 13 runs for 82 yards, four catches for 24 yards and one touchdown, and we hope to build on this performance this week. He will face linebacker Joe Schobert (hamstring) and Cleveland has already allowed five halfbacks to score or win at least 90 rushing yards this season. Barber is a flexible option of week 7.
  • Latavius Murray (NYJ): I hope the Vikings will let Dalvin Cook (hamstrings) rest to make sure he's 100% healthy without setbacks. In this way, you can have Cook for the final series of the Fantasy season without problems, but we can also use Murray this week without fear of a committee. In Week 6 against Arizona, Murray was dominant with 24 runs for 155 yards and a touchdown, as well as a hold for 3 yards. It was the best performance for a Minnesota running back this season, and I like his chances of making a big comeback this week at the Jets. If Cook is absent, use Murray as a starter in all leagues.

Bust alert

The touchdowns saved Collins in the sixth week in Tennessee, and he will likely have to score again this week against the Saints to become a viable Fantasy option. He only managed 2.8 yards per race against the Titans on 19 races and he did not catch. He also combined for just two catches for 10 yards and one touchdown for five targets in the last three games, and I hope this is not a sign of the future. Javorius Allen will continue to share contacts with Collins, and this is not an easy match against New Orleans. The Saints are in the top five of the number of Fantasy points allowed for half-offensives. Peyton Barber scored the highest number of rushing yards in New Orleans this season with 69, including clashes against Hyde, Coleman and Saquon Barkley. Collins is always worth a look as a low-end or flex option, but do not be so quick to pick it up in all leagues simply because he's scored twice against Tennessee. If he does not score this week, his Fantasy production might be minimal.

Wide receivers

Sleepers

  • Taylor Gabriel (vs. NE): Gabriel has been great in the last two games with 12 catches for 214 yards and two touchdowns for 12 targets. He should have the chance to make another quality outing this week against the Patriots. It's worth using at least one Fantasy No. 3 receiver in what should be a high-performance affair, as the Bears are potentially looking for points, even at home.
  • Christian Kirk (vs. DEN): Even if you do not want to start Kirk this week, it should be added in most leagues. He has scored at least 13 PPR points in three of his last four games and should be able to avoid the Broncos' half-corner, Chris Harris, this week, as Harris is likely to spend time with Larry Fitzgerald. Josh Rosen and Kirk seem to have a solid relationship, and he is a No. 3 recipient of Fantasy with a head to head in Week 7.
  • Willie Snead (vs. NO): I do not like Snead as much as Michael Crabtree or John Brown this week, and both can be seen as fantasy starting options against the Saints. But Snead can be a recipient of Fantasy No. 3 in PPR with the revenge factor played by his former team. He has also earned at least 10 PPR points in five out of six games and 24 targets in his last three outings.
  • Jermaine Kearse (vs. MIN): Quincy Enunwa (ankle) and Terrelle Pryor (groin) were injured, we found that the Jets had to rely on Kearse and Robby Anderson. And I like Kearse better this week against the Vikings. He just won a big game in Week 6 against the Colts with nine catches for 94 yards on 10 targets. He should be very involved again this week. Anderson will likely see more of Xavier Rhodes than Kearse, and he deserves to be trusted as PPR's No. 3 receiver if Enunwa and Pryor go out as planned.
  • Antonio Callaway (at CT): Callaway is expected for a big game and he will get it this week if he continues to see a significant number of targets. He has at least nine targets in three of his last five games, but has scored eight or fewer PPR points in every game of that period. This week, he gets a great game against the Buccaneers and it's worth it to call Callaway again as a No 3 Fantasy receiver at least in most formats.

Bust alert

After a slow start to the match, Thomas has been alive for the past two weeks with eight catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns for 10 targets. Hopefully, he can continue to be productive for the rest of the season, but he has to face a tough game during Week 7 in Arizona. He will most likely meet a lot of Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson this week, which will make it difficult for him to be productive. This week, I love Emmanuel Sanders better than Thomas. Sanders is worth starting in most leagues. Thomas, however, should at best be considered a flexible option.

Tight ends

Sleepers

  • C.J. Uzomah (KC): Uzomah have just won a strong game in Week 6 against Pittsburgh with six catches for 54 yards on seven targets, and he should play well again this week in Kansas City. The Chiefs have allocated at least 12 PPR points at four tight ends this season, and Uzomah has the power to stay as a low-end star until Tyler Kroft (foot) returns.
  • Ricky Seals-Jones (vs. DEN): Seals-Jones has scored at least seven PPR points in three of his last four games, and he's been setting highs of the season in receptions (five) and receiving yards (69), while leveling his season. best targets (six) of week 6 in Minnesota. We'll see if he can continue his momentum this week against the Broncos, but Seals-Jones is worth it because of his role in this offense as a key weapon for Josh Rosen.
  • Gerald Everett (to SF): With Cooper Kupp (knee) released this week, we could see Everett play a bigger role in the passing game. In his last two games, he scored seven goals for five catches and 48 yards. He played well against the 49ers. San Francisco has allowed a close finish to score or win 100 yards in five in six games, and Everett is worth seeing in the deeper leagues.

Bust alert

It was good to see Olsen return to Week 6 in Washington after missing the previous three games due to a foot injury. He had four catches for 48 yards on seven targets. He should have a similar production this week, but you might be careful to pitch him against the Eagles. Philadelphia is among the top five in terms of allowed fantasy points, and Howard in the second week is the only tight end to score against the Eagles, with clashes with Hooper, Eric Ebron and Kyle Rudolph. Olsen is at best a low-end starting option at the 7th week.

Defense / Special Forces

Start them

Chargers (vs TEN) – 11.9 points projected

The Chargers' defense has been excellent over the past two games against Oakland and Cleveland. They have two interceptions, eight sacks, a tweeter and gave only 24 points in total over that period. This week, the Chargers face a Titans offensive that allowed Marcus Mariota to give 11 sacks, and Tennessee did not score against Baltimore. In fact, the Titans scored only 12 points in their last two games against the Bills and Ravens.

Sleepers

  • Colts (vs. BUF): Derek Anderson will start this week with injured Josh Allen (elbow). The Colts defense should play well at home. Buffalo has awarded 24 bags for the season and the Bills are intercepted in all but one game. Buffalo also scored 13 points or less in four games. It's worth it to trust the DST Colts host for this game.
  • Cardinals (vs. DEN): The Cardinals DST have had one touchdown in each of the last two games, with three interceptions, eight sacks and four fumbles during this period. The Cardinals DST are also facing a quarterback at Case Keenum who has been sacked 10 times in the last three games and is interception every game this year.
  • Lions (at MIA): Brock Osweiler is leaving for injured Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) and I'm expecting him to be struggling despite his strong performance against Chicago last week. He has always had two interceptions against the Bears and the Lions defense has 17 sacks in five games. As a conclusion, I am confident that Lions Summer Time is among the Top 10 Fantasy Options this week.

Sit Em

Bears (vs. NE) – 7.7 points projected

The Bears DST had one of the biggest disappointing games of any position in Week 6 in Miami. Osweiler chose the Chicago defense apart for 31 points and the Bears did not pack. This week, they come home for a tough duel against the Patriots, and the decisive pass by Khalil Mack (ankle) is missed. If Mack is absent, there is no chance of playing against the Bears DST, but even with Mack, the unit is an inexpensive starting option, at best, against Tom Brady and others.

Kicker

Start them

Vinatieri has played two home games this season and has scored at least 10 Fantasy points. In fact, he has at least 10 Fantasy points in all but two matches this season, with just one game with less than eight points. In a game that should score few points against the Bills, look for Vinatieri as a valuable weapon. He is a top five potential in week 7.

Sleepers

  • Giorgio Tavecchio (vs. NYG): With Matt Bryant (hamstring), Tavecchio will leave for the Falcons, and he is in a great position against the Giants at home. The Giants awarded the second highest number of Fantasy points to the opposing kickers, and four kickers scored at least 10 points against the Giants.
  • Brett Maher (at WAS): Maher has been great in the last three games for the Cowboys, and it should be used as a streaming option this week in Washington. He has scored 11 goals and seven more points in his last three outings against Detroit, Houston and Jacksonville, and has scored at least 12 Fantasy points in every game of that period.
  • Jason Myers (vs. MIN): Myers was quietly one of the Fantasy MVPs in Week 6 with his performance against the Colts. He scored seven goals and three more points for 27 Fantasy points and has scored at least 11 points in each of the last two games. The Vikings are No. 4 in fantasy points allowed to opponents, and Myers seems to like kicking home. It is worth using this week based on its recent game level.

Sit Em

Succop did not have the opportunity to score in the 6th week against Baltimore since the Ravens have ruled out the Titans and it's hard to trust the Tennessee offensive in a tough match against Chargers. Prior to week 6, Succop had scored at least nine Fantasy points in every game this year. He therefore hopes that he will bounce back with his Fantasy production. But the Chargers have not yet allowed a kicker to score two points in Fantasy points this year. It could be another tough match for Succop in London.
